They will take your debts and consolidate, or combine them, into one low monthly payment. The debt consolidation service will then take your payment and pay your creditors.
So what do you need to look for when finding a debt consolidation service? How you repay the debts are usually the same for all types and most organizations will charge a monthly fee on each debt account hey handle. One thing to keep in mind also is that once you go with a debt consolidation service, your ebt will be paid off faster then doing it yourself. These organizations do have some limitations or restrictions for who they will help. For instance, most won't handle secured debts like a mortgage or car loans. They will let you know how long it would take to pay off your debt which will be shorter than if you tried yourself.
Why will creditors lower my interest rates for you?

Unless one of your creditors specifies otherwise as a prerequisite for acceptance into the program you may include accounts at your own discretion
